Aloha, Ko’olani is not only our home but our future.
Like many, I sold my home in 2006 to reside at Ko’olani, as an owner I am concerned about our values, our reputation and a few of our current Board of Directors.
We all agree Ko’olani was pitched as a pet friendly, luxury high-rise condominium, we all agree that our location is second to none, we all agree our units are spacious and sport the finest of appliances & materials.
That being said we need to get back on track; we need to move forward and work on increasing our resale values, increasing our rental income, fix the few things that are broken not change to things that work and we need to hear the opinions of all our Ko’olani residents not just the same 35 that spend their time attending and participating in meetings and committee’s.
About 315 owners have no idea what is really going on, how the building is being run, what is being voted for other then what they read in a newsletter published under the direction of our Board!
As a concerned resident, parent with young children, pet and home owner, I relate to must concerns and situations, I am committed to keeping the majority owners informed and up to date by both blogging, writing emails and letters, I say what others are to afraid too, I write facts and my opinions that aren’t edited nor approved by our BoD.
I invite all owners, residents and tenants to share your ideas, opinions or concerns by emailing them in confidence to kimop1999@yahoo.com.
The owners of the Ko’olani need communication, honesty and deserve what we've paid for, until this happens, I will stay involved!
To those of you whom sent your emails and asked to be kept in the loop, hopefully we can find a happy medium or common ground, put our egos and personalities aside, wear a smiling face and work together to make the Ko’olani the best place to live.
